Numbers of BMW E46 M3s produced. A total of 85,766 BMW E46 M3s were made, including 29,633 convertibles and 56,133 coupes. It was produced from 2000 to 2006, when the contentious V8-powered E90 took its place. Over 14,000 more units were produced overall than the E36 M3 that came before it and more than five times as many as the E30 M3 from the 12-28-2010, 01:03 PM. probably more than you'd think. Not very many of them are left as daily drivers, it's extremely rare that you see an E30 M3 on the street - unlike it's E36 brother. Most of them are garage/weekend cars, with a few track machines spaced here and there. For as long as I can remember, the BMW E30 has been steadily increasing in popularity within the enthusiast community. But at a vintage of at least 30 years, there’s very little one can do to the car that hasn’t been done already. They’ve been lifted, lowered, slammed, extended and shortened. Drag racing, road racing, rally racing, drifting.

The most common brake line size for most BMW’s and particularly true for E30’s is 4.75mm with a M10 x 1.00 flare nut. Often at part stores this will be sold as 3/16 with a M10 x 1.00 flare nut, this is perfectly fine because 3/16 = 4.76mm.

One of the most popular projects for the BMW 3 Series cars is replacing the flexible brake lines that run from the main chassis of the car to the A-arms and trailer arms. These lines are made out of rubber and, over time, tend to break down and corrode. Carefully inspect the rubber lines every 10,000 miles or so.

Alex McCulloch, August 12, 2018, Featured. The second-generation BMW 3 Series—the E30—has long been called ā€œGod’s Chariot,ā€earning this nickname because it is wonderfully communicative, responsive, and well balanced. But lately, the term God’s Chariot as been thrown around to describe another ’80s German stalwart, the 1978-to-1983
4gal E80 + 10gal Gas = E30 (30.00%) 4gal E75 + 10gal Gas = E28 (28.58%) All work fine for an E30 tune, either mixed from quality E85 down to crappy winter E75. I bring 4gal of E85 in a SureCan quick fill tank and drop it in before filling up with 93. If you only want a half or a quarter tank to stay light just mix 2-to-5gal or 1-to-2.5gal.
