Pivot Table Top 10 Filter Macro. To make it easier to apply Top 10 filters to your pivot tables, use a macro, instead of using the Top 10 Filter dialog box. Choose a filter type from the drop down in cell F1. Type a number in cell F2. The macro runs automatically when those cells are changed, to apply the new settings for the Top 10 filter.
The Select Data Source dialog now looks like this, with the Chart Data Range box displaying the range containing all of the pivot table data. Don’t click in this box, and don’t click Switch Row/Column, or your chart will become a pivot chart. Click OK, and notice how the chart now plots the pivot table data.

Click the 'Insert' tab on your Excel ribbon. Select 'Pie Chart' from the 'Charts' group. Choose the type of pie chart that you want to use. Your pie chart will be created with the default appearance. This can be customized as necessary from the 'Format' tab on your Excel ribbon.
But if you want a second chart that is independent from the first chart, you need to create a new pivot table and chart. Let’s delete the second chart and try again. This time, we’ll select a cell in the data and then click the PivotTable button on the Insert menu. We’ll go ahead and put the chart on a new worksheet.
